Be alert and stay in your car until you are directed by a staff member to begin helping your children out of the car.
Do your best to arrive at your designated time. It is imperative we avoid unnecessary delays.
Have your family name card posted in your windshield or driver’s side window.
Resist your urge to text and use electronic devices. All it takes is one small distraction to hold up traffic, bump a car or worse injure a child or pedestrian.
This is a congested area with high volumes of traffic. It is important to be neighborly in our actions by being considerate of the residents and following procedures.

Enter the church parking lot from Orchard Street. Cars will queue in the lot and form two lines. When the lot is full stay behind the alley on Orchard Street and hug the east (right) side of the street. Other northbound traffic needs to flow easily.
Designated staff members will move from car to car to do the following:
- Take each student’s temperature
- Ask each student two general “wellness” questions
- Check that each student’s mask is in place
A staff member will direct you when it is time to move forward to the front of the school.
Please pull as far north to the gym door as possible. Your child should exit the car between the garage and the gym door. There are no east side or alley drop offs in the morning.
Do not pass up other drivers waiting patiently to pull up in line. Keep the center lane on Orchard Street open.
Only exit your car to help your child(ren) out of the car. A staff member will be close by to escort the student(s) to the correct entrance- PreK, Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th will use the south doors;
- 1st, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th will use the north doors
Make sure either you or your child promptly retrieve all necessary belongings from the vehicle.
Keep greetings to parents and teachers to a minimum. Other families are waiting behind you to drop off.
After your child is safely out of your car pull up and out of the carpool lane.

Please do your best to pick up at your assigned time. Have your family name card visible in the windshield or driver’s side window.
A designated staff member will be directing parents from the church lot and cars in the right-hand parking lane on Orchard Street to pick up points in front of the school.
Engage your hazard lights while waiting in line and exercise patience.
Leave a lane open for through traffic on Orchard Street at all times.
Only exit your car to help your child(ren) into the car. A staff member will escort the student(s) to the car.
Do not block or park in alleys. Under no circumstances should you obstruct the flow of traffic at any intersection.
