Anchor Days

Each month Saint Clement School has an Anchor Day. Students bring in one dollar in exchange for not wearing their school uniform. The dollars are collected and donated to a charitable organization. Each grade is assigned an Anchor Day. They decide where they would like the donated dollars to go plus they learn about the charity. Almost all Anchor Days have a theme and students are encouraged to dress according to that theme (example: December­ wear red and green). Guidelines for out-of-uniform dress can be found in the Student/Parent handbook.

On Anchor Days, all students will enjoy a special lunch. Usually it is pizza, but on certain months it could be sub sandwiches, tacos, or hot dogs. You will be notified of this in the Clement Connection. Regular hot lunch will not be served on Anchor Days. If your child does not care for the special lunch, please send them with a bag lunch. This special lunch is paid for by your SCPA dues. SCPA is always looking for parent volunteers to help in the cafeteria on these days.
