Before School Care - 2021
St. Clement plans to offer Before Care to families seeking school-based childcare prior to the start of each school day, beginning at 7am. Please contact Administration for more details on Before School Care.
After School Care
Our regular After School environment is not intended to contain high-powered curriculum and instruction nor concentrated enrichment programming. More open-ended than the regular school day, After School offers a variety of mixed-age group activities, as well as quiet time for independent reading, games, or homework. Free-choice, free-play, cross-age social interactions, and space for psychological decompression are essential to healthy social and emotional development in children.
Outdoor play is offered and encouraged throughout the seasons, including both free play and pick-up sports games on the rooftop playground, in the lot, and in the gymnasium. Self-directed choice is encouraged for all children; scaffolded choices are applied where developmentally and individually indicated. The program is supervised by part-time and full-time staff members who are committed to providing a fun, caring, empowering, and safe setting for students of all ages to come and play, grow, learn, relax, create, and make new friends!
We are happy to expand our St. Clement After School program this school year. Please be mindful that our After School program adheres to the same COVID-19 Safety precautions as those utilized throughout the regular school day. All students are required to wear masks when indoors, as per the State of Illinois mandate, in addition to keeping 3 or more feet of social distance between themselves and other students, particularly while eating. When outside, students are free to remove their masks.

After School Attendance
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking that parents continue to use the following Google Form to sign their child(ren) up for After School on a week-by-week basis. A more thorough Monthly sign up form -- for parents who know their set schedules for the semester -- should be available soon.
Extended Day Program Daily Rates:
Before School Care - Drop-in from 7:00 - 7:45 am$8.00
Short Stay (less than 30 min) in After School Care$10.00
Full time (over 30 min) After School Care - 3:00 - 6:00 pm $20.00
Pick-up - After 6:00 pm $5.00 per minute
*After 3:30 student is considered part of the Full Time After School Care and will be charged $20.
Extended Day Program Billing Information
Extended Day Care will be billed monthly directly to your FACTS account on file. Extended Day Care and Enrichment classes are offered only to families who are up-to-date with their tuition payments. Questions regarding billing should be directed to Chris Bagnall at cbagnall@clement.org. A registration fee of $50.00 per child is REQUIRED for all students. It will be refunded at the end of the year if the program is not used.
